In-hospital Clinical LLM

Clinical guidelines, internal policies, and records were split across systems, so documentation and summarization consumed a lot of clinical staff time. Patient data (PHI) can never leave the hospital, so general cloud AI was never an option.

We placed an in-house LLM inside an isolated hospital environment and connected clinical guidelines, policies, and records via RAG and an ontology. All processing stays in-house and PHI never crosses the isolation boundary. Clinicians receive summaries and search results with source documents attached.
